O'tai Hotel was founded in 1968 by Nicolás Haoa and Rosita Cardinali, at those times under the name "Residencial Rosita" and with only 4 rooms. In the year of 1986 it was enlarged and renamed as O'tai Hotel, which nowadays has 41 rooms with capacity for 80 people and distinguishes by it's cosy and homely atmosphere. With the years passing by the hotel has specialized in giving personal attention to the guests, who take with them a pleasant memory of Rapa Nui and their stay in our hotel.

Description

O'tai means "In the Coast", in the Rapanui language. As its name indicates, the hotel is just foot steps away from the coast line and at the same time, in the centre of Hanga Roa village, near all the most important services. When you arrive, the hotel staff will be waiting for you with our traditional reception of flower's necklace and welcome drink made by typical fruits from the island and provide with the transfer from and to the airport.

The reception is ready to attend all your needs from 7:30am to 23:00pm. The laundry service is available from Monday to Saturday. You can leave your cloths in the indicated bag and afterwards receive it in the reception.We also have at your service a small library with variety of books from the world and of Rapa Nui. The Hotel has an international restaurant specialized in typical dishes of Rapa Nui.

The Hotel also has available for your use a TV lounge, conference room and parking.
